The biggest frustration I am encountering with this song is finding out WHO is the right person or office to send it to.
In addition to the now 30 or more phone calls I have made trying to get this information, I have now written a postal letter to the commander of the USAF band (suggested as a good POC), and am about to mail today four more letters to people at the VERY TOP of the Space Force command chain, seeking their help and guidance in finding out this information.
It rubs me the wrong way to break protocol and “jump the chain of command” this way, but I am at the end of my rope. I have exhausted every avenue I can think of to get this information on my own, and in all these efforts I have encountered only ONE helpful person, and nothing but dead-ends anywhere else. I cannot find a phone call or an email address for anyone at all who will respond.
Oh, there’s one more that MIGHT have been helpful – I was finally able to get through to the Space Force “Public Inquiries” office, and some anonymous person there responded
Your information has been passed to the correct office.
Thank you,
Air Force and Space Force Public Inquiries
Department of the Air Force
The Pentagon, Washington, DC
So was that helpful? You tell me. They obviously didn’t tell me what the “correct office” is or how to get in touch with them.
Yes, it is truly a major exercise in frustration. But I’m doing all I can.
