THE DRUNKEN SAILOR SHANTY
for Brass Quintet
arranged by David P. Miller

"A Super Novelty Number For Your Brass Quintet!"

This is a tremendous Brass Quintet arrangement of the old sea shanty, "What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor?"

This arrangement has sections that provide a great exercise to develop double tonguing skills for those who need this, while giving a great musical experience at the same time.

The arrangement also has some excellent (but short) solos for various instruments. These solos are usually only a measure or so in length. This is ideal for players who are not totally confident in their solo ability but would like to become more so.

There are fascinating harmonies and interesting changes of tempo. There is even a section that sounds like the sailor stopped off in Spanish Morocco!

DIFFICULTY: This is a Grade 3 piece if you have good double-tonguing skills.
